Week 04 was Monday before Thanksgiving. Shannon's Great-Grandmother passed away on Thanksgiving day. We called President Baker. He called Shannon into the mission office and told her of this event.
In family events such as this the mission president has many options. After discussing it with us and Shannon we all decided that she would stay and keep working as she is. God is good and He has comforted us in this time of loss.
Great-Grandmother would have been 99 years old on Dec 6, 2011. We do miss her but she lived a wonderful life and she is now with all of her siblings and parents. We have no doubt that she is in paradise with God and his Angels.
